This coming Saturday, May 30th at 4:00 p.m., don’t miss the concert Ensemble Caprice will play in Saint-Lambert as part of the Festival Classica. This concert will include performances of the Brandenburg Concertos featuring, for the first time in North America, a horn soloist in the second concerto. The concert will take place in the Saint-Lambert United Church, 85 Desaulniers Boulevard.

On March 31st, Ensemble Caprice, Matthias Maute and Sophie Larivière were awarded 3 noncerto statuettes! These were awarded in the following categories:
Sophie Larivière: Best fundraising 2015 – Mécénat Caprice
Matthias Maute: Best composer 2015 – Noncerto RR2 Métro philharmonique
Ensemble Caprice: Best culture 2015 – Laterrière

Tuesday, March 31st at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur
Ensemble Caprice in collaboration with the Consul General of Uruguay in Montreal will mark the Journée internationale de la francophonie with a musical performance entitled Baroque Splendor. The program will include baroque works from the French, German and Italian repertoires as well as compositions by Jesuit missionaries. This intimate concert will feature Matthias Maute, Sophie Larivière, Jean-Willy Kunz and the incredible Uruguayan counter-tenor Leandro Marziotte. Come join us on Tuesday, March 31st at 8:oo p.m. in the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur.

For those of you who may have missed or who would like to re-experience our Depth and Consolation concert performed on February 22nd, you are in luck. The concert will be broadcast on March 24th at 8 pm on the Ici Musique station during the Soirées classiques program hosted by Mario Paquet. This concert was performed as part of Year 1 of the complete Bach cantatas project in collaboration with the Arte Musica Foundation. We are delighted to inform you that we will again be participating in Year 2 of the cycle with a performance of the Easter Oratorio on March 27, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. We should add that this concert was also broadcast in Europe.
