Ensemble Caprice wins its first Prix Opus Award!!

Last Sunday, January 31, 2010, Ensemble Caprice was honoured with the Prix Opus Award in the category Early Music Concert of the Year for our joint concert with the Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal, The Splendours of France.

Ensemble Caprice is floating on a cloud!
Having just been awarded the PRIX DU PUBLIC (Audience Appreciation Prize) of the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée, here we are once again receiving high honours.
We are very pleased to announce that Ensemble Caprice is now a Finalist for the GRAND PRIZE of the MONTREAL ARTS COUNCIL in the music category. What a fantastic beginning for 2010!

We wish to express our gratitude to the Conseil des arts de Montréal as well as to Mr. David Sela, the generous donour of the prize money accompanying this distinction.

CAPRICE starts the year 2010 with honours !
Ensemble Caprice received the PRIX DU PUBLIC (Audience Appreciation Prize) of the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée! What recognition! Caprice is the audience's darling.

Ensemble Caprice earned this honour with its Vivaldi and the Gypsies tour of 2008-2009 as part of the programme of the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée. We were chosen from among the 50 music, dance and theatre organisations who participated in this tour.

October 22, 2009 ADISQ Nomination for Ensemble Caprice! Ensemble Caprice has been nominated for an ADISQ award for their CD Gloria! Vivaldi's Angels. The awards will be announced during the L'Autre Gala on Monday, October 26th.

April 15, 2009 Ensemble Caprice has been nominated in two categories of the ECHO Klassik 2009 awards for the CD *Vivaldi and the Baroque Gypsies* on the Analekta label. The awards ceremony will be held in Dresden, Germany, on October 18, 2009.
